Alright so in any trip, of course, preparation must be done. Whatever you are about to read is what I personally did to prepare, if my tips helped you out then good for you and if it doesn’t then it is what it izzzzzz.
Packing clothes

Put something at the door like glass,drawer,etc
Updating
Tell your friends & fam where you are going and your eta
Constantly upload your next or past location on your social media. Your current location is ok when you are leaving
I said something like I will document this entire journey and in 48 hours I dont update my story that means something bad must have happened
Insurance
Affordable travel insurance that can cover about 1/4 million or maybe 100k if something bad were to happen to you
Timing
For me I choose to leave at 12 January as most government schools especially Primary and Secondary school holidays just ended on 11 January so yeah I’m pretty sure the tourist spots won’t be as pack as compared to school holidays
Bike Condition
Before the trip, I got my trustee mechanics from THCycle (here’s the link hehe, not sponsored btw) for motorbike maintenance/inspection, I video called my friends in Thailand and Malaysia to plan together the timing and activities (most of the time is just catching up), booking the flight, activities and accommodation. Budgeting is a pain in my wallet but it’s always good to be safe than sorry that’s why I bring my Wise Travel card where I can withdraw money from the local ATM and also store Malaysia Ringgit and Thai Baht inside the multi currency wallet. Going to the money changer is not a must for me haha. More about the money aspect of this trip will be another article. Back to the bike, I packed up my stuff in packing cubes and put it in the rear box while I also have a bag pack covered in bag rain cover which I strap to the bike with some elastic cord.
Activities
I usually book activities that cannot be found in my home country Singapore, duhhh I’m not going to another country to do something that my country also have.
