In this trip, it’s my first time on a plane by myself, the first time I went overseas for more than a week as a solo traveler and endless first time experiences!

It’s so weird to start an article with a summary but oh well here you go… (It’s on TikTok too hehe)

Alright Summary is done, now let’s go into the details of my trip, it’s gonna be a long read. It’s so long that I will need to write the expenses of my trip in another article in the Finance Tips category.

Before the trip, I got my trustee mechanics from THCycle (here’s the link hehe, not sponsored btw) for motorbike maintenance/inspection, I video called my friends in Thailand and Malaysia to plan together the timing and activities (most of the time is just catching up), booking the flight, activities and accommodation. Budgeting is a pain in my wallet but it’s always good to be safe than sorry that’s why I bring my Wise Travel card where I can withdraw money from the local ATM and also store Malaysia Ringgit and Thai Baht inside the multi currency wallet. Going to the money changer is not a must for me haha. More about the money aspect of this trip will be another article. Back to the bike, I packed up my stuff in packing cubes and put it in the rear box while I also have a bag pack covered in bag rain cover which I strap to the bike with some elastic cord.

12 September 2022 is the day when the holiday time has just ended for most government schools in SG so it’s a good time to travel as there won’t be too much traffic jam during the weekdays (there’s an article on how I prepared this trip too). Left my house at 3am and hit the road. I reached Genting Highlands at about 11am and I checked in at Win Win hotel which is actually half convenience store and half hotel. I immediately slept and woke up about 2 or 3pm
